Four distinguished communication award competitions have honored Kevin/Ross Public Relations with a total of nine national awards for work the agency performed over the past year on behalf of Antelope Valley Hospital.

Healthcare Marketing Report, sponsor of the healthcare industry’s oldest and largest healthcare advertising awards, presented four accolades to Kevin/Ross in four distinct creative categories. The agency was honored for excellence for:

  • “If You Think You Know Antelope Valley Hospital, Think Again” advertising campaign.
  • Winter blood drive direct mail campaign.
  • HealthConnect community newsletter launched in 2016.
  • Design of its Masquerade Ball poster, an event honoring the hospital’s longstanding employees.

Creative work done in connection with that same Masquerade Ball was honored with a gold Aster Award, which recognizes quality and creativity in healthcare and medical marketing from among more than 3,000 entries each year.

The announcement of the recognitions by Healthcare Marketing Report and the Aster Awards comes on the heals of an earlier announcement that work Kevin/Ross performed on behalf of Antelope Valley Hospital was honored by the international MarCom Awards competition as well as by the Service Industry Awards. Competing against more than 6,500 entries from the United States and several foreign countries, MarCom presented Kevin/Ross with a platinum award – the highest honor MarCom bestows – for the hospital’s Masquerade Ball invitation and a gold award for its “If You Think You Know Antelope Valley Hospital, Think Again” advertising campaign. The agency was also recognized by MarCom for excellence for a postcard it created promoting the hospital’s annual summer blood drive. The Service Industry Awards honored Kevin/Ross for the hospital’s HealthConnect community newsletter.

“It’s a tremendous honor to receive this recognition for work we’ve done for Antelope Valley Hospital who has been a wonderful partner throughout these creative efforts,” said Carol Stevenson, vice president of Kevin/Ross Public Relations and account lead for the hospital. “The hospital has long been renowned for its clinical excellence, and now their support of out-of-the-ordinary approaches to public relations and marketing is being recognized as well.”
