We are thrilled to announce that Kevin/Ross Public Relations has garnered two awards for writing excellence from the international MarCom Awards competition. Our agency was cited for excellence while competing against more than 6,500 entries from the United States and several foreign countries.
For work done on behalf of OneLegacy and its Chief Executive Officer Tom Mone, Kevin/Ross was honored for an article/commentary that appeared in Healthcare Business Today. The article, entitled “Parade Highlights Organ Donation,” uses the attention drawn to the Donate Life float in the 2017 Rose Parade as a launching point to discuss the role that hospitals can play throughout the year in raising the visibility and need for organ and tissue donation within their own communities.
Kevin/Ross was also honored for an article that appeared in Becker’s Hospital Review that the agency produced on behalf of Richard Bowen, M.D., director of the Center for Sports Medicine at the Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC) in Los Angeles. Entitled “Three Big Ideas for Improving Access to Care,” the article discusses the disparities that exist across America as it relates to a child’s ability to access care and then presents tangible suggestions of what can be done to have an immediate, positive impact on the issue.
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals, both corporate and agency. Over the past six years, Kevin/Ross has garnered two dozen awards from the organization on behalf of a wide range of clients, including (in addition to OneLegacy and OIC) SCAN Health Plan, Huntington Memorial Hospital, Loma Linda University Medical Center, Antelope Valley Hospital, Clear Vision Information Systems, the California Treatment Advocacy Foundation and inneractions.
