MedicareCompareUSA helps Medicare beneficiaries select a health plan that is accepted by their existing hospital and doctors, thus assuring continuity of care and preserving the trusted relationships many providers have built up over time with their patients. Not owned or managed by any Medicare insurance company, MedicareCompareUSA’s mission is to provide seniors the unbiased information they need while simplifying the enrollment process. Kevin/Ross was engaged to help MedicareCompareUSA enhance its brand, grow its name recognition and help position both its Medicare helpline and other consulting services as an indispensable part of a hospital’s or physician group’s proactive patient-communication and population-management strategy.

SCAN

2019-04-11T17:47:57-07:00

SCAN is a not-for-profit Medicare Advantage plan committed to keeping seniors healthy and independent. As anyone who’s ever shopped for health insurance knows, benefits and provider networks tend to be strikingly similar from health plan to health plan. SCAN needed to differentiate itself from its many competitors and wanted to highlight its roots as a community organization founded by seniors for seniors. With no in-house PR team, SCAN turned to Kevin/Ross to help build brand awareness; position the organization as a leader in geriatric healthcare; and provide strategic counsel and ongoing PR support for program launches, new market expansions and more.

Antelope Valley Hospital

2019-04-11T17:48:19-07:00

Antelope Valley Hospital is a 420-bed district hospital located in the city of Lancaster in northern Los Angeles County. As the area’s only full-service hospital, AVH provides a full array of medical/surgical services and is the only Level II trauma center within a 50-mile radius. Despite having served the community for more than 60 years, there was a strong feeling from the board of directors that local residents were not aware of the breadth of services offered by AVH or its high-standing medical capabilities. Kevin/Ross was engaged to help address this challenge by reintroducing the hospital and its competencies to the community.

Society of Hospital Medicine

2019-04-11T17:48:32-07:00

The National Association of Inpatient Physicians was a recently formed professional trade organization created to represent the emerging field of hospitalist medicine. The trouble was the general public didn’t know who hospitalists were, and a skeptical healthcare industry questioned if this upstart specialty was merely the flavor of the month. Kevin/Ross was brought in to work with the physician board of directors and the new executive leadership team to help build the brand – not only of the organization but of the hospitalist specialty itself.

UCLA School of Nursing

2019-04-11T17:48:41-07:00

The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) is home to one of the premier nursing schools in the country – ranked No. 12 in graduate schools of nursing by U.S. News and World Report and No. 5 in research funding from the National Institutes of Health. But the field of nursing is changing, and the school sought to position itself on the forefront of that change. Kevin/Ross was retained to help the school’s quest to redefine and “reimagine” nursing and, by doing so, helped brand the school as one of “uncompromised excellence in research, education, practice, policy and patient advocacy.”
