(WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Nov. 10, 2008) — Kevin/Ross Public Relations is a double winner in the international MarCom Awards competition, just announced. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Westlake Village-based agency has been honored by the prestigious Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals.
Kevin/Ross earned a Platinum Award, the highest award given, for the “On-Air” fundraising brochure it produced on behalf of KCLU Public Radio. A community service provided by California Lutheran University, KCLU is in the middle of a $7.5 million capital campaign to build a new studio, expand its reach, and establish an endowment. Kevin/Ross earned a Gold Award in the writing category for a commentary entitled “Marketing Healthcare Heroes,” which was written by agency President Ross Goldberg and appeared in the July issue of Healthcare Marketing Report.
The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communications professionals, both corporate and agency. It is one of the largest such competitions in the world, this year attracting more than 5,000 entries from the United States and several foreign countries.
